The SR-10AR head fixation system ensures precise measurements with high reproducibility. By enabling instant re-fixation in the exact same position, it allows for stable, non-anesthetized chronic experiments while minimizing restraint stress. Customization for user-made chambers is also available.
* For stereotaxic use, the optional SR-5B or SR-6B (including baseplate with AP bar) is required.

By bonding the chamber frame onto the head of a rat, repeated fixations in the same position in an unanesthetized state have become possible. Once the chamber frame is fixed on the head, without the need for anesthetization, the rat can be stereotaxically fixed without using the mouth/nose clamp or ear bars, enabling the SR-10AR to be used for visual and/or auditory experiments. |

The color will be updated to black due to the new surface treatment. This change will make it easier to clean the surface and remove dirt.
This change will be applied once the current stock is finished. The color cannot be chosen when placing an order.
