Beak-shaped holder for fixing 0.5mm GRIN lens securely

This holder is intended to hold the GRIN lens in the market; thickness 0.5mm O.D., 3mm or longer. The minimal beak design improves visibility of subject.

Features of SMM-HG

GRIN lens fixing part; there is a groove for fixing 1mm away from the tip.
Guide line to mount GRIN lens vertically.
Holding part is transparent; margin for holding GRIN lens can be seen while fixing. Its shape, like a bird's beak, is longer sideways, making it easier to see around from above. Furthermore, because it's designed to have less shadow from light, it's clear to see the embedding area how the lens is going.
The fixing beak part can be easily opened and closed with a small knob.
To avoid interference of the holder around the device during the embedding, the space between the fixing part and the shaft is angled.
