The SMM-B2 is attached to the stereotaxic manipulators: SMM series and fixes various equipment such as a holder of 3mm to 8.5mm O.D. and an injector with attaching bar. No tools are required to attach or detach them. Experiments can proceed efficiently without delays by changing the equipment. It can also be used to mount the MDS-1, MOS-1, or IMS-30 on manipulators made by other manufacturers.
* Can be attached to the SM-15R/L and other manufacturer's manipulators. Please be sure to read the following precautions.
1.The screw standard for SM-15R/L without serial numbers is different from that of current models. When installing the SM-15R/L, use the attachment fixing knob you are already using instead of the supplied one. If you cannot distinguish the difference, please contact us.
2.There are some conditions when attaching to manipulators made by other manufacturers. Please confirm the following. When mounting, do not use the supplied attachment fixing knob, but use one that fits the screw on the mounting side. Even if the attachment can be installed, there is a possibility that the intended performance may not be obtained.
3.When using this unit with SM-15R/L (sold separately) or other manufacturer's manipulators, a part of this unit may come in contact with the manipulator body depending on the mounting position. Operate the manipulator within the range where no interference occurs.
Simply slide in from the side and tighten the knob manually.
Set-up example: the holder with 8mm O.D. bar on the SMM-100.
