The SMM-B is attached to the stereotaxic manipulators: SMM series and fixes various equipment such as a holder of 3mm to 8.5mm O.D. and an injector with attaching bar. No tools are required to attach or detach them. Experiments can proceed efficiently without delays by changing the equipment.
* The SMM-B can be attached to the stereotaxic micromanipulator SM-15R/L. Those models without serial number (SN labeling) have a different standard for the mounting screw. For models without SN, do not use the mounting screw included in the SMM-B, and use the original screw instead. Please contact us if the SN labeling of manipulator cannot be identified.
Simply slide-in the equipment from the side, and fix the mounting screw tighten by hand.
Set-up example: the holder with 8mm O.D. bar on the SMM-100.
