Stereotaxic Injector

Both injection and suction are possible: turning the control knob drives the plunger up and down.

This is a manual injector designed for brain injection which is used with a glass syringe. Attached to the stereotaxic micromanipulator SMM-series, turning the control knob by hand pushes the plunger slowly, allowing injection of small volume. Suction is also possible as the plunger is fixed by a knob and pulled. The syringe is attached and detached from the front of the main body, which permits handling a syringe without hitting the tip of a sterilized needle. The connecting bar is included in the accessories for the stereotaxic micromanipulator, and the mounting bracket can change the orientation of setup. Suitable for large-volume injection and ICV administration, etc.
