This auxiliary ear bar is for use with SR series stereotaxic instruments. Since the bar is attached before fixing the rat on to the fixing clamp, the procedure is simple: even if the animal is detached and the re-fixed, repeated fixation is quick and easy. Smooth, uncomplicated clamping with one hand is much easier by spring.
